It is with pride and somewhat mixed feelings that I thank the entourage, and wish VIA members and partners the best of luck on the road towards more sustainable transport infrastructure.

I have had the pleasure of leading the cluster since its inception in 2016 and until now in December 2024. It's been an incredible journey of ups and downs and I'm proud of everything we've achieved together.

Het year 2024 is een jaar geleden met en milestonen voor VIA. One of the highlights was Innovation Arena 2024, where we gathered 250 participants from the whole value chain in Kristiansand to discuss innovation and more climate-smart solutions for road, bridge, track and tunnel. This event has truly become an important meeting place for the industry and we have seen new collaborations and projects being initiated here.

It has also been worked well in the project Sustainable value chain and material use in road construction. Projeto a a a. Je, a, VIA a a na na Nye Veier E39Lyngdal, a v.

One of the most exciting success stories for VIA in 2024 is the project that uses game technology to visualize Norwegian tunnels. Utilizing data from the National Road Database (NVDB) and technology recognizable from the game Fortnite, all tunnels in Norway can be visualized in seconds. This unique approach gives us completely new possibilities for planning and visualization, and has already received considerable attention both nationally and internationally.

After eight years in the cluster program, VIA is transitioning into a new phase. Kluster je, a je, v ViaSine a. Het industrie verschillende in de jaar, en we kan beste solver disse. In this way, VIA plays a key role as the neutral arena and driver for collaborative development of safe, smart and sustainable roads, bridges and tunnels.

I would like to thank all members, partners and colleagues for their support and commitment in the past year. Together we have built a strong and dynamic cluster that will continue to grow and develop for years to come.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a sustainable New Year!

Regards Helen
